This issue's special focus has been on: Privilege and the ways that systems of power intersect, interact with, and influence experiences of queer and/or trans* femme identities. As conference halls and blogospheres fill with stories of femme resilience and subversion - our body politics, styles, manifestos, activism, porn, and creativity - it's important to think about how the spaces we enjoy are the result of great courage, risk, and a multitude of struggles. It's important to think about how our oppresions are intertwined and how confronting one system of oppression necessarily means confronting all of them. Our liberation must be collective.
