KANATA is a bi-annual publication in the shape and form of an interdisciplinary academic journal that is student-run. The journal is a material manifestation of the interest of McGill students in topics that greatly affect contemporary North American politics, popular culture, law, education, economics, and much more. KANATA was created as a channel and vessel from which a community will grow for students studying topics affecting and related to Indigenous Peoples of North America.
